![]() He provides with Advisory and Change Management services to diplomatic missions, international organisations, donor funded programmes and international companies with business interests in Bangladesh. Prior to joining Stein & Partners Mr. Bhuiyan served as a diplomat of the European Commission, where his duties included management and implementation of the bi-lateral and regional Economic Co-operation portfolio, trade and investment interests in close collaboration with the EU Member States, international donors, government authorities, civil society, private sector and relevant partners. Before accepting his diplomatic assignment with the European Commission Mr. Bhuiyan worked as a Sales and Product Training Specialist at the world headquarters of Bloomberg L.P. in New York, where he was directly responsible for interacting with CFO’s, treasurers of Fortune 500 companies, traders, portfolio managers and other financial market professionals to demonstrate and assist them analysing financial instruments, economic and market data, pricing, news and research reports to make complex financial and business decisions. His clients at this job represented sophisticated finance and investment institutions, central banks, government agencies and ministries. |
She advises foreign companies doing business in and with Bangladesh in compliance with the local legislations, labour, social and environmental standards working towards implementation of the relevant UN and ILO conventions as well as the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. Operating in Bangladesh as a foreign company may be challenging without very high standard professional Legal, Financial and Administrative advice to be compliant. Although many things in Bangladesh may look easy – careful analysis and considerations along with professional advice are indispensable for successful operation in Bangladesh too. |

After graduating from the Meiji Gakuin University he joined Onward Kashiyama, promoted to it’s Hongkong office for expanding business in Asia. In Hong Kong he was in charge of company operation, retail and whole sales business for five years. |
